A beautiful lady and Facebook user, DeAsia Symone, shared photos of herself taking an overdose of drugs as she claimed that her time is up and she doesn’t want to live anymore.  DeAsia went further to say that she’s better off alone and doesn’t need anyone to come look for her. A self-proclaimed magic-man steamed himself to death in Malaysian while trying to ‘cleanse his body and soul’. The 68-year-old medium was performing the human steaming ritual on Monday night when the incident happened.  Lim Ba sat on a large wok for around 30 minutes with fire underneath in Nine Emperor God prayer session at a Chinese temple in Kuala Sanglang, Kedah when the incident happened. Devotees removed the cover after they heard knocks from inside the work. They quickly removed it find him lying unconscious inside. Footage of him convulsing while people try to get him away from the heat was widely shared on social media. By the time the ambulance arrived the self-professed magic man had stopped breathing and was later declared dead. He died from heart failure and massive second-degree burns. This photo of a Uganda-based Clergyman who claims that God spoke to him not to work on the ordinary ground has caused mixed reactions on social media. The man of God, identified as Pastor Busoga of Uganda says he is so holy that he can’t walk on the ground so as not to be contaminated. As a result of this, the church members have to submit their bodies as a stepping stone for the man of God to step on while coming into the church for their usual church services. What do you think?

According to viral online reports, there was a clash between two rival cult groups, Eiye and Aye, last night at Osiketa area, Satellite road, Ado Ekiti. A student was reportedly killed at the Aye base and pandemonium broke at the Ekiti State University following the clash.

Two teenage boys met their untimely death on Tuesday at Ntotroso, a mining community in the Asutifi North District of the Brong Ahafo Region while doing the popular ‘One Corner’ dance on a motorbike. According to Ghana News Agency, the deceased were identified as Kwabena Fante, 17 and Nyarko Abronoma, 15. They were said to be riding on a motorbike and at the same time dancing to the popular ‘One Corner’ tune when they collided with another person and crashed into a structure. Their bodies have since been deposited at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Hospital at Hwidiem.

An unidentified obstetrician in Pakistan shared this very touching story of how a woman who’s been barren for over 14-years died during childbirth. The doctor took to his Facebook page to narrate the sad experience, he wrote; Today is the saddest day of my life. As a Doctor, I have handled so many pregnant women in Labour and every time am in the delivery room I always pray to God to bless all mothers. The pain women go through in the delivery room is undescribable and this does not include the 9 months they spent carrying the baby. They go through a lot just to bring forth new life. A 29-year-old Nigerian man identified as Johnny has died after suffering stab wounds at a residential address in Park Royal. The Police were called to Lakeside Drive,  near Hanger Lane station, at 2am on Friday to reports of a stabbing. They discovered Johnny suffering from stab injuries. London Ambulance Service also rushed to the scene and attempted to treat him but he died at the scene, less than an hour later, at 2.57am. His 21-year-old fiancée was at the scene when police arrived and were arrested on suspicion of murder. She was taken to a north London police station, where she remains in custody. In what will come across as a really shocking development, a man has reportedly jumped inside a Lagos lagoon in an apparent suicide bid. A man who is yet to be identified, on Friday afternoon jumped into the Lagos lagoon from the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge. According to The Nation, the suicide mission has forced officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Marine Police and other stakeholders to the scene to search for the man. Femi Falana stated this in a conference about the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, he said; Pastor Adeboye is creating business centres, not churches Pastor Enoch Adeboye once said he wants to establish more churches so that everyone can have a church within a walking distance. According to an online user,  Eze King Fortune, a Nigerian man was beaten to a pulp and arrested for allegedly killing another Nigerian man’s wife in Brazil over an unpaid debt. A Facebook User, Eze King Fortune took to his facebook page to share the incident. He stated that the suspect who is a Yoruba man, stormed the home of an Igbo man to collect about 3000 ‎Reais (1000 dollars i.e over N360,000) he was being owed. But he couldn’t find his debtor at home because he reportedly went to pick up his kids from school. Rather than wait for him, the man allegedly shot his debtor’s wife three times – killing her instantly. A Nigerian civil servant, Mrs Ekpo Edet has just been immensely blessed with quintuplets (5 children) after a decade of childlessness. A man believed to be a security operative was spotted carrying an AK-47 rifle in broad daylight in Owerri, Imo state. The unidentified man looked very relaxed with the gun in public, wearing a casual outfit with bathroom slippers. The Nigerian police force has warned all its operatives to ensure they wear their uniforms while on duty irrespective of where they find themselves, a message that some have failed to adhere to.

Prof. Mahmud Yakub, told the Senate Committee on INEC on Wednesday that the commission would recruit about one million ad hoc members of staff for the conduct of the 2019 general elections. The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission said that the ad hoc workers to be deployed for the polls, which will begin in 484 days, will be about 300 higher than the 700 engaged for the 2015 general elections. He said, “The projected increase in the number of ad hoc (members of ) staff to be engaged in the elections by the commission arose from the need to make provisions for adequate manpower for the exercise on a general template and, specifically, to take care of peculiar needs for that purpose in some polling units across the federation.” The INEC boss, at the interactive session with the lawmakers, also disclosed that the commission was planning to make the five categories of disfranchised Nigerians participate in the 2019 general elections. A resident of Isheri-Olofin, Ogun State, has been arrested by the police after he was caught with five children he allegedly abducted from the community. Punch Metro learnt that the suspect, whose name was given simply as Adebayo, had lured the children out of the neighbourhood. The victims were identified simply as Tunde, 6; Kehinde, 6; Ayo, 7; Ayomide, 8; and Basirat, 8. It was gathered that some parents of the victims and a large number of residents had attended a church crusade on Sunday, while the children played around. Adebayo, who had moved into the community four days earlier, reportedly lured the children under false pretences of taking them somewhere for a treat. He was about to board a bus at Kara bus stop when a resident, who was returning from Mowe, Ogun State, met him at the bus stop with the children.
