Mr Salihu Adamu Musa, INEC Electoral Officer in Bokkos Local Government of Plateau, on Monday apologised over the “shameful” behaviour of the Returning Officer deployed to the area. Buhari wins at Tinubu's Polling Unit

Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State casted his vote at Unit 047, Alausa, Ikeja area of the state, yesterday. After the whole collation of votes at the polling unit, Buhari Had 122 to defeat his closest contender and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar who scored 53 votes. A total of 202 were casted and out of which 184 were valid and 18 votes were voided. A total of 1428 voters registered at the Polling Unit.

It was a busy day in the Country as Nigerians vote in the Presidential and National assembly candidates across the Nation. Voting has been concluded in many part of the country just as Counting and collation of ballots get underway in other places. In Kaduna State, voters out numbered ballot papers leading to accusation of diversion in some polling units in Kaduna state, especially in the Barnawa, Narayi and Ungwan Boro communities.  Hours later, more ballot papers were made available and the process resumed, getting into the night. The voters  called for improved preparation ahead of the governorship and state assembly election.
