Onnoghen: SAN Femi Falana Asks CJN to Resign & Buhari's Action
Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has asked Justice Walter Onnoghen to stop the seat, following the charges leveled against him at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
Falana expressed this while showing up on Channels Television's Politics Today on Sunday.
"The legislature ought to as an issue of criticalness, lift the suspension on the Chief Justice, and since the Chief Justice as such a great amount without anyone else conceded that he didn't announce his advantages, he ought to do the needful by throwing in the towel," he said.
He expressed that after the suspension has been lifted, Onnoghen ought to stop the seat, since he has just conceded that he bombed in his obligation to pronounce his advantage as required by the constitution.
Falana further contended that the Executive and the Judiciary arms of government, have fizzled Nigerians concerning the instance of Justice Onnoghen.
He said it wasn't right for President Muhammadu Buhari to have suspended him dependent on an ex parte request of the set of accepted rules court.
"You can't battle debasement without following fair treatment," Falana included.
