Kwara guber: Saraki re-strategize

THE ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Kwara State has quickly gone back to the drawing board to re-strategize and cover up for what it lost during the National Assembly and presidential elections penultimate Saturday.
Tapout media reliably gathered that the political leaders known to be very close to the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki were said to have been openly castigated by the “good boys” when they came to visit the “leader” to discuss the way forward after the election.
The political leaders were rebuked for causing the Senate President’s political misfortune by allegedly diverting to private use various resources, logistics and political appointments meant for the masses, which made many of the party faithful fall prey to O to ge merchants in the APC.
Tapoutnews  investigations also revealed that instead of the usual fanfare campaigns they previously embarked upon, the party has now resorted to door to door aggressive campaign to woo more members ahead of this Saturday’s poll.
The party leaders across the state, sources claimed are now directly reaching out to traditional rulers, artisans across board and various political interest groups on the need to give Dr. Saraki another chance to reclaim the political leadership of the state.
The agents of the PDP in this door-to-door campaign were said to have placed premium on the need not to bastardise the Ilorin tradition and culture by conceding Kwara State to the sovereignty of Asiwaju BolaTinubu.
Copious examples of sad tales allegedly being currently experienced by people of Osun, Lagos Ekiti, Oyo, and Ondo States are now being recited as reasons the electorate should vote for Hon Razaq Atunwa, the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate and others going for the House of Assembly in order to preserve the tradition and culture of Ilorin and its emirates.
More importantly, campaigns for the daughter of Emir of Ilorin, Princess Aishat Sulu Gambari, the PDP’s candidate in Magaji Ngeri constituency in the state assembly were being seriously pursued in honour of the monarch.
Consequently Magajis were allegedly sent from the palace to the electorate, to as a matter of priority, consider the interest of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Sulu Gambari.
News sources also claimed that major stakeholders in Magaji Ngeri constituency are being begged to forget their political affiliations and consider honouring the emir of Ilorin by voting for his daughter
